SAN DIEGO — A GirlsDoPorn “business associate” testified yesterday that the company continues to recruit models on Craigslist and that the current contract still does not specify that the footage will be posted online, including on popular free tubesites.
Matthew Wolfe is described in a Courthouse News report as a GirlsDoPorn “business associate who’s filmed over 100 pornographic videos for GirlsDoPorn since moving from New Zealand to San Diego in 2011 to work for his childhood friend Michael Pratt’s company.”
Wolfe revealed that information on the stand during the ongoing San Diego trial about the civil lawsuit filed by 22 former GirlsDoPorn models — named as Jane Does 1-22 — against the company and its owners for fraud.
The models allege that the company failed to disclose to them that the videos would be available online, telling them instead that it would only be available on physical media “in Australia.”
Wolfe said, when questioned by models’ attorney Brian Holm, that he is currently in charge of uploading new videos to the website.
Wolfe, according to Courthouse News, also “confirmed contracts presented to models after the June 2016 lawsuit” still “do not mention websites whatsoever.”
Among other revelations on the stand, Wolf said that:
- The “videos shot by GirlsDoPorn were only posted online, never distributed on DVD”
- “GirlsDoPorn actor Andre Garcia is still recruiting models as recently as last week”
- The model contracts “aren’t currently well organized and are ‘stacking up on a desk’ in his office”
- “(I)f models asked where their videos would be posted, he’d only tell them it would be published online but wouldn’t provide more details”
- He “disputed GirlsDoPorn had anything to do with the women’s names and phone numbers that were released” on now-shuttered doxing/extortion website PornWikileaks.com
- The contracts signed by the women never mention GirlsDoPorn, referring instead to Pratt’s company BLL Media Inc., or other entities he owned
As for the whereabouts of GirlsDoPorn’s owner, who reportedly fled the U.S. in the past few weeks, Wolfe said “he spoke to Pratt on the phone yesterday, but it’s unknown where Pratt is located and if he will testify in the trial. Pratt is still operating the business from outside San Diego, Wolfe said.”
According to Courthouse News, the models’ lawyers “has suggested Pratt flew to New Zealand from Tijuana, Mexico this summer ahead of the trial.”
The trial is expected to last several more weeks.
