NEW YORK CITY — MakeLoveNotPorn will showcase its user-sourced video-sharing platform at Sex Expo New York 2019, to be held the weekend of September 21-22 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.
Cindy Gallop, founder and CEO of MakeLoveNotPorn, shared, "[We're] delighted to be participating in Sex Expo New York for the first time. At our booth, we’ll be showcasing how we are pro-sex, pro-porn, pro-knowing the difference and introducing visitors to our user-generated, human-curated videos that celebrate the funny, messy, wonderful, awkward, beautiful sex we all have in the real world."
Gallop described the MakeLoveNotPorn content as "social sex videos," noting, "We're what Facebook would be if it allowed you to socially, sexually self-express, as naturally and normally as you express yourself in every other way on social media. We’re socializing sex to make it easier for everyone to talk openly and honestly to promote consent, communication, good sexual values and good sexual behavior," she said. "We're spearheading the social sex revolution: the revolutionary part isn’t the sex, but the social."
MakeLoveNotPorn is a rev-share membership community, meaning that members pay to subscribe and stream videos; half of the income generated from subscriptions is returned to contributors, aka "MakeLoveNotPornstars."
Gallop and other company principals — the platform’s community manager, Ariel Martinez; Bex Caputo, its curator; and Cristina Pitter — will be available to answer questions from Sex Expo attendees.
Presented by Chaturbate, Sex Expo New York 2019 is additionally slated to feature several contests and prize giveaways, and a selection of workshops and seminars hosted by top sexperts and educators alike.
