MONTREAL — ManyVids is now offering content creators and fans the option of non-nude videos, expanding the range of material and opportunities available on the popular platform.
The new option allows creators to choose between “Vid Without Nudity (SFW)” or “Vid With Nudity (NSFW)” upon upload so that MV Stars can easily add a wider variety of content for sale through their ManyVids Profile.
“Sex work is a valid and empowering job, and ManyVids exists to prove this to a society that has yet to fully embrace it as a career," explained a company rep. “We are committed to showing the world that sex workers themselves are about more than sex — they’re powerful, beautiful, smart and multi-talented creatives. And we want to help MV Stars showcase their talents to the world and help them achieve success while doing so!”
With this added feature, MV Stars now offer all types of videos from cooking tutorials to fitness training, yoga to video game play-throughs, cosplay tutorials, ASMR clips, film reviews, unboxing, mukbang, vlogging, poetry reading, painting, fashion, makeup tutorials and more, because, as the rep said, “So many MV Stars have passions and skills outside of adult entertainment and MV is a safe and supportive site to monetize and share them!”
ManyVids believes the SFW videos will help advance its social mission to normalize sex, adult entertainment and sex work by having a variety of non-adult content mixed in with adult content. This will help ManyVids spotlight its MV Stars and their videos in mainstream media without the complexities of featuring explicit nudity.
“My dream is to see a successful cam girl make the cover of Vogue magazine, a porn star featured as a female superhero in the next blockbuster Marvel film, a famous art gallery in New York featuring the paintings of a trans MV Star, and Madison Square Garden with a sold-out comedy show of a gay sex worker,” said ManyVids CEO and Founder Bella French. “The world needs to know that sex workers can do it all and doors need to start opening for them a lot more.”
French said that sex workers are no different than other hardworking people and that the “sex worker” label should not close doors for them.
“People [need to] understand that sex workers use their bodies in their careers just like a professional athlete or a ballet dancer does,” French noted. “Offering non-nude, non-sexual videos is another step in the right direction.”
“We will never stop moving forward, and with time and effort, society will change,” French exclaimed. “Sure, adult entertainment is what MV Stars do, but that’s a single dimension in a larger complexity of who they are as beautiful humans.”
MV Stars can have their SFW videos featured on the official MV Social feed, currently boasting 2.4 million followers, by sending a link via PM directly on the MV Profile or via email to Savannah@manyvids.com.
