LOS ANGELES — Director Bree Mills has unveiled the new website for her upcoming autobiographical feature film “Teenage Lesbian,” starring Kristen Scott.
"TeenageLesbianFilm.com is the custom landing page people can visit to get notified on how to stream the film for free when it's released and to view free photo galleries," Mills told XBIZ.
The website includes a full trailer for a non-explicit “indie film version” of Mills’ film, which is inspired by her own coming-of-age and her exploration of gender and sexuality during high school.
Instead of shooting “hardcore” and “softcore” versions of the film, Mills took a novel approach: she shot “Teenage Lesbian” in an “uncensored version” with sexually explicit scenes which will be available on Adult Time, and an “indie film version,” which depicts less graphic sexual situations, like typical fare available on Netflix.
The film's unquestionable MVP is Kristen Scott as Sam, the stand-in character for Mills. Scott delivers a nuanced, often heartbreaking performance as a “disconnected lesbian” — that was Mills’ main acting note for her character — that should impress both adult and mainstream audiences.
