MONTREAL — Adult Time has announced its latest original series, "Bubblegum Dungeon," which offers a reinvigorated take on BDSM erotica.
Directed by Joanna Angel, the series is set to premiere in the fall of this year exclusively on Adult Time.
Adult Time CCO Bree Mills explained that "Bubblegum Dungeon" is poised to "flip the switch" and bring an alternatively playful and vibrant tone to the world of traditionally "dark and dreary" fetish content.
“The look of the series is meant to be flashy and unique, with strong branding and memorable imagery," she said. "We knew there was only one director who could tackle such a unique project and that is Joanna!”
“Don’t be mistaken by the ‘bubblegum’ term," quipped Angel. "There’s some very rough sex that goes on in between laughs, smiles and discussions about unicorns. This is definitely a fun project, and it’s vastly different from anything on the Adult Time network. I’m excited to see what the fans think!”
Speaking to the stylized candy-colored world, Frank Stacy, Adult Time’s showrunner for original series, shared the new show is a "colorful, sex-positive take on extreme BDSM."
“We take all the popular tropes and concepts of the biggest bondage and rough sex websites out there and present it in a new way where the aesthetics are being turned upside-down. Colorful, zany, playful, bright — this isn’t your typical dominatrix’s hangout."
Look out for "Bubblegum Dungeon" this fall exclusively on AdultTime.
