LOS ANGELES — One month after launching its charitable giving program, fan site JustFor.fans has added the Sex Workers Outreach Project USA (SWOP-USA) to its list of charitable organizations.
According to the company, its models who have donated part of their income to charitable causes have already raised $2,000 for their chosen organizations.
“SWOP-USA is a national network of diverse sex workers spanning many industries. We are united in fighting stigma and criminalization of sex workers,” SWOP-USA Executive Director Christa Daring explained. “SWOP-USA is thrilled to be working with JustFor.fans and continuing to build the sex workers rights movement across our various industries and mediums.”
“I am beyond thrilled that so many of our models jumped at the chance to contribute a portion of their income to these worthy charities,” JustFor.fans creator Dominic Ford said. “I really didn’t know what the response would be for this program, and it is heartwarming to see how eager our models have been to donate to worthy causes that help the most needy parts of our broad community.”
“Adding SWOP to our roster of charities is important,” Ford added, “as they are on the front lines of helping our community directly.”
JFF users can browse models based on who is donating to charity, with each model page showing the organizations they are donating to, and how much of their JFF income they are donating. The platform is also seeking additional
national organizations to add to its giving program, specifically in the areas of women’s health and LGBT issues.
