ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Fetish Con organizers have announced the official schedule of events for Bond Con, owned by and running concurrently with Fetish Con. After being dormant since 2007, the returning Bond Con will be held at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront Hotel Aug. 8 to 11.
“We are so excited to go back to our roots with Bond Con and bring bondage back to the trade show,” Event Promoter Genesis Lynn said. “When the ribbon is cut to officially open Bond Con on Friday, Aug. 10, it will introduce a whole new aspect to Fetish Con that many attendees have never seen before. We are looking forward to continuing the Bond Con legacy in today’s fetish scene.”
Kicking off the reinvigorated Bond Con on Friday, Aug. 9 at noon will be an official ribbon-cutting ceremony by organizers Genesis Lynn, Vesta, Mike and Si, as well as Drew, Stacy Burke, Jewell Marceau, Anastasia Pierce, George Perez and Bernie the Bondage Bunny. The day continues with a full slate of live demos:

Attendees are invited to participate in Bond Con’s inaugural “Bondage Battle” Saturday, Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. where $500 will be awarded to the team winning “Best Tie” by votes, and all participating team members will receive All Access Passes to Fetish Con. In addition, one fan will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize of travel, hotel accommodations and two All Access Passes to Fetish Con, which happens to also be the 20th anniversary of the popular trade show. Legacy models, who attended the original Bond Con, "are thrilled with its return" according to a rep.
“I was honored to be one of the first Guests of Honor at the inaugural Bond Con in New York,” Stacy Burke said. “It was right after 9/11, and a lot of first responders and military were staying at the same location. In addition, Fetish Con has announced the return of Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame recipient and internationally-renowned comic book creator George Pérez to its show. In addition to co-creating the popular “The New Teen Titans,” Pérez also had defining runs on “Justice League of America,” “The Avengers” including “The Infinity Gauntlet,” and most notably, “Wonder Woman.”
According to a rep, "Pérez’s re-imagining of the Amazing Amazon brought the character back to prominence after years of stagnation; it is his specific interpretation which has been cited as a major influence for the blockbuster film’s success. While Pérez has been a fetish fan for as long as he could remember, with a particular penchant for catfighting and bondage that sometimes filtered into his comic book art; attendees will be able to meet Pérez over the weekend at the 12th Annual Superheroine Showdown on Saturday, Aug.10, from 1 to 3 p.m. For more information, click here.
With Kinky Classes, a private Twisted Dungeon/play space, live fetish shows, after-dark parties and the Pervy Pool Party "that never stops," Fetish Con has grown to "an internationally recognized and hugely anticipated annual event within the fetish industry and community, bringing thousands of bondage and fetish performers, production companies and kinksters together for an unforgettable four-day weekend," according to a rep.

All Fetish Con events are restricted to those 18 years of age and over; all trade show events, with the exception of sanctioned, off-site, after-hours parties, will be taking place exclusively at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront over the course of the four-day event.
