LAS VEGAS — Adult performer, director, and producer Lance Hart was was recently profiled for a Paper Magazine's article about the stigma of bi performers in the industry.
In Sandra Song’s article, “Why the Porn Industry Still Stigmatizes Bi Male Performers,” Hart shares his experiences as a crossover/bi performer in adult, including stories of lost work, stigmatized worry over HIV, why they’re often interpreted as “gay”, the complications about being upfront, PrEP, and how the industry is slowly evolving in regards to fluid performers.
Hart's wife and fellow performer, Charlotte Sartre was also interviewed, as well as Chris Zeischegg (formerly Danny Wylde).
“I’m really glad Sandra did that article,” said Hart. “I honestly can’t complain much about the stigma. I have it pretty good. There are so many bi men who have to live with secrets or double lives, and it’s sad. I hope someone feels less alone when they read it.”
In related news, Hart also scored his first Urban X Awards nomination for Most Popular Fetish Star at the upcoming award show.
Set to take place August 18 at the Globe Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, voting is currently open.
