VirtualRealPorn.com Embraces Augmented Reality

LOS ANGELES — New augmented reality technology is rapidly making inroads in adult entertainment, with the coming juggernaut given a recent boost by one of the most high profile names in virtual reality porn, VirtualRealPorn.com.

In a recent interview with ARPornTube.com, Virtual Real Porn revealed it is embracing AR tech and commented that AR will one day become a mainstay of adult entertainment’s future.

“For the moment, we are focused on our VR productions and VRLove, the video game,” a VRP representative said. “However, we consider AR as a main technology in the future of porn.”

While the company admits to beginning an AR project, it declined to provide a launch date or other details.

VRP is an early adopter of VR technology, with its earliest endeavors reaching as far back as 2013, a year before Facebook made its acquisition of Oculus, and several years before many other adult studios embraced VR. As a result, the company has a robust library of VR content, currently numbering more than 440 scenes featuring over 220 female performers.

“We are very eager to see what Virtual Real Porn brings to the table with the ever-growing and exciting field of augmented reality technology,” AR Porn Tube CEO Dan King explained. “As we are beginning to see, AR has started finding some ground in the adult space, so having one of the biggest and best in VR come to AR is something we are all very excited about.”
