Mechbunny Reports Adult Market Shift to Bespoke Builds

LOS ANGELES — Adult software solutions provider Mechbunny is reporting a market shift to bespoke builds of technology platforms and adjusting its offerings to suit.

According to the company, when the free porn era began there was an abrupt shift in the market that saw webmasters hustling to get their own versions of a free tube launched as quickly as possible.

Mechbunny filled that void by providing a simple, affordable tube script, which has been used to create thousands of sites. Now, those trends are changing once again, and Mechbunny is seeing it firsthand as the majority of new orders focus on much more complex custom builds.

“For a period of a few years, all anyone was asking us about were changes to our pre-scripted tube and review site products, but that is changing rapidly now,” said Konrad of Mechbunny.com “What most of our clients want now are full-scale custom builds of video-on-demand sites, social networks, cam sites, hybrid sites and other more complex initiatives.”

“It seems to be a function of market consolidation as larger companies pursue larger slices of the economic pie,” Konrad added, “instead of trying to nibble around the edges.”

Konrad’s insider insights reveal where he believes the market is moving next.

“Having been working seven days a week in adult for more than a decade, I understand that when the industry earns more, it benefits my interests in the long run as well,” Konrad explained. “So, a heads-up that companies are moving in this direction may be beneficial for other companies who are unsure of which direction the industry is moving.”

Konrad said that one of the primary benefits of working with a company such as Mechbunny is that beyond its coding ability, the team also understands what the project is about and its adult applications.

“As some of my clients have mentioned,” Konrad revealed, “when you are on the paysite side of the business it becomes harder to get a macro-view of what is going on globally outside the confines of your own backend stats reporting.”

“Hopefully this trend toward a quality targeted user experience with highly customized site builds is a step forward that everyone will enjoy together,” Konrad concluded. “Put simply, if you are just throwing up one-page doorway sites to an auto-piloted free tube you are probably doing it wrong at this point.”
