MONTREAL — Marley Brinx explores “Dad’s Paddle Collection,” now in digital release from the fetish anthology series “Female Submission” for Pure Taboo on Adult Time.
Her costar is Charles Dera. “Marley stars as a young woman named Gracie who opens a mysterious trunk belonging to her stepfather and discovers a dark — and strangely exciting — secret about him,” notes the promotional synopsis.
Brinx marks her first Pure Taboo role with “Dad’s Paddle Collection,” under the direction of Craven Moorehead. "I had an amazing day on set for ‘Female Submission’ — the crew was phenomenal and Charles was the perfect creepy stepdad. It was great working with him,” she said.
Brinx enjoyed the personal challenge the role presented. “I really enjoyed getting to show a side of me a lot of people don’t get to see — being submissive doesn’t come naturally to me, but I always love to immerse myself into the character I’m playing,” she said. “In this story. I play a submissive and sexually curious stepdaughter who wants her stepdaddy’s approval and punishment!"
Moorehead praised the chemistry and professionalism of his leading actors. “Charles Dera is one of my favorite male talents to film, and this scene shows why. This was the first time I’ve shot Marley Brinx, and I was thoroughly impressed with her beauty and raw talent. It’s this kind the chemistry and passion these two had for the scene and each other that made me want to be a film director in the first place."
Dera enjoyed working with his leading lady. “It was a pleasure working with a true professional like Marley,” he said. “She was a master of understanding her limitations and conveying that to me. Safe play keeps everyone safe.”
