INDIO, Calif. — Voodoo enlisted as a partner for Nylon Magazine's “Midnight Garden” party during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where the sex-positive brand made a splash with an interactive photo booth and free giveaways.
The brand also celebrated the launch of its online store at the event, which was attended by celebrity guests, including Ashlee Simpson, Anwar Hadid and Lisa Rinna, social influencer Maddie Carina, and featured performances by Jaden Smith and JoJo.
“Music festivals like Coachella are a place for freedom of expression, creativity and celebrating the human experience,” Voodoo Brand Director Sally Cotching said. “We’re here to encourage festival goers to enjoy themselves, be safe, and feel in control of their own experience. Voodoo was created with the vision to break down stigmas surrounding self-love and sexuality, and encourage acceptance. It’s great to have been met with so much excitement and curiosity at our gifting suite.”
Voodoo is the lovechild of Shibari known for its popular selection of wand massagers. Inspired by the female empowerment movements of the ‘70s and ‘80s, the brand shares and creates content that is female-focused, designed to ignite conversation about sexuality and break taboos.
To celebrate its Coachella debut, Voodoo is offering $10 off at its online store at Voodoo.toys, with the code “COACHELLA.”
