LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures, contract director Brad Armstrong and Wicked Girl Jessica Drake have announced the completion of “Divine,” their first collaboration since “Fallen II: Angels & Demons,” the 2019 XBIZ Awards winner for Best Art Direction.
“Our goal from the outset was to make ‘erotic eye candy' and we did just that," said Armstrong about “Divine.” “In fact, we may have captured some of the prettiest stuff I’ve ever shot."
The director's productions featuring Drake are known for their spectacular art direction and lush eroticism.
“We really focused on the sets and wardrobe colors, along with lighting, to paint a picture,” said Armstrong. “It made for amazing visuals. Jessica is always great to work with, and all the other performers looked incredible and brought their A-game."
“Like the 2018 blockbuster ‘Carnal’ and the director's other heavily art-directed, vignette-style features,” said a Wicked rep, “‘Divine’ is an exercise in ‘art for art’s sake’ created with the élan only Armstrong, Drake and their celebrated production team can deliver.”
“As always, partnering with Brad Armstrong for another cinematic adventure was a sensual and visual delight," said Drake. "This movie is glamorous, drenched in color, and showcases some of my favorite performers. Each scene has its own specific aesthetic that contributes to the tone of the sex. Between the 'spy scene' with Will Havoc and Small Hands, the 'Valentines scene' with Sean Michaels, the 'taxi cab confession' scene with Seth Gamble, and my scene with Chanel Santini under the cherry blossom trees, there’s no way I can pick a favorite. They’re all so different, and they’re all so... ‘Divine.’”
‘Divine’ also co-stars 2019 XBIZ Best Actress winner Avi Love, Honey Gold, Vicki Chase, Codey Steele, Jay Smooth, Sean Michaels and Armstrong.
"Stunning visuals paired with strong sex is always a winning combination,” said the director about his latest exercise in stylish, big-budget erotica for couples. “The footage is absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to see what kind of magic my editor comes up with. I'm excited to release the trailer. This movie is going to be incredible!"
"Divine" is tentatively scheduled for a late Summer 2019 release.
