LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Eden Sin remains in intensive care in a Los Angeles-area hospital after suffering multiple life-threatening injuries following a tragic fall from a Hollywood building on March 19, according to her partner and her family.
Speaking to XBIZ, performer Filthy Rich, Sin’s partner in the last few months, explained that Sin was being treated for severe depression at the time. “She was treated at a hospital here,” Rich said, “and doctors gave her a medication that has been known to cause hallucinations and weren’t monitoring her properly. The family is here with her and we’re now finding out [that] that hospital has been fined repeatedly for neglecting their patients.”
The 23-year-old Sin, a distinctively youthful-looking brunette, had joined the industry in 2016 as Eden Sinclair. She performed frequently for several studios until mid-2018 when she returned to North Carolina, according to Rich, after her contract with the ATMLA agency expired. She has not been an active performer since then, though she returned to the L.A. area sometime in the past few months, and had been staying with Rich in Hollywood.
Fans had noticed Sin had deactivated her adult industry social media accounts in the weeks preceding her fall. “She was extremely depressed after she got back to L.A., and these medications made it much, much worse,” Rich confirmed.
“She’s stable now and making good progress,” Rich added. “She came through through all her surgeries, and everything went well. There are no internal injuries or, apparently, trauma to the head, but she’s under so much sedation after all the surgeries that there is no way to know how her brain was affected. She’s not really conscious. The priority is to get her stable and out of the ICU in the next few days. After that, there’s going to be a long period or rehabilitation.”
Rich and the family have set up a GoFundMe account to help with expenses related to Sin’s hospital stay, treatment and upcoming rehabilitation. “The family would like privacy during this extremely tough time but please help with whatever you can. Anything at all helps,” wrote Rich.
“She was such a sweet, sensitive girl," Rich told XBIZ. "It breaks me up all day, every day inside. I am so angry at those doctors.”
