LOS ANGELES — Screaming O has completed its latest round of materials testing of products for the spring season.
Performed to coincide with semi-annual product launches, testing occurs at SGS Polymer Solutions, an accredited independent laboratory and is done in categories that mirror those outlined in the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, including to identify products’ chemical makeup; confirm absence of hazardous elements and to certify future safety by verifying no leaching of potentially toxic substances.
Screaming O has voluntarily submitted products for third party independent testing since 2015.
“Our vendors and customers know we stand behind the quality and safety of every product we produce, and they rely on that. Screaming O is proud to hold itself to a higher standard and part of that is our commitment to independent materials testing,” Screaming O account executive Conde Aumann said.
In each lab review, Screaming O says it tested its silicone flexible material used in the My Secret Charged Plug XL, ABS — the smooth plastic used in the Charged Ohare XL, and SEBS — the stretchy material used in the RingO rings.
