LOS ANGELES — Sanctuary Studios LAX will host “Art at the Dungeon,” a new event series that will showcase the collection “Art Studio Nudes, Featuring Lawrence Pryor,” at its inaugural event on March 30.
The Boston-based studio artist Lawrence Pryor is set to showcase his collection, which features a nude art series of performer-songwriter Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls and The Grand Theft Orchestra.
This particular exhibition will run for one night only and is billed as a “revisioning of the critical relationship of the photographer and the model/performance artist at the outset of their creative careers — an expression of the creative ambitions, risk taking and genuine collaboration of artist and performer.”
Sanctuary Studios LAX is located at 10914 S La Cienega Boulevard, Lennox, CA 90304. The “Art at the Dungeon” exhibition will take place March 30 from 3-6 p.m., followed by the charity event, ChamPAIN, from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m.
