NEW YORK CITY — CineKink has announced its 16th annual Kinky Film Festival will unspool April 3-7.
The event “will feature a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality,” a rep said. CineKink bills itself as an organization “dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television. With offerings drawn from both the independent cinema world and the adult, works presented at CineKink New York will range from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, slightly spicy to quite explicit — and everything in-between."
Festival plans include screenings, a short film competition, panels and workshops, audience choice awards and “a ‘Bring It!’ adult entertainment showdown,” notes the rep, as well as a “kick-off gala” and “a sizzling ‘Afterglow’ play party to wrap the festivities."
"Additionally, “a tour is set to take place in the months following the festival, showcasing audience favorites from the New York selections."
A complete lineup and schedule will be unveiled in March. Currently, festival passes are available for purchase; click here.
