ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Badoink has started to sell Oculus Go virtual reality headsets pre-loaded with adult content.
Called “Porn In-a-Box,” Badoink’s newest entry could be construed as a clever way to get more people hooked on an immersive hookup experience.
Badoink’s Oculus Go 32 GB headsets sell for $300, a $100 premium over what the base Oculus Go model goes for.
With Porn in a Box, users can check out dozens upon dozens of 5K clips from the company’s BadoinkVR, BabeVR, VRCosplayX and 18VR lines.
Access to the erotic VR content involves a pre-installed app that can be secured with a four-digit PIN.
“By dedicating ourselves to just the Oculus Go, Porn In-a-Box quickly and easily delivers the most immersive VR porn that puts you right in the middle of the action,” the company said. “And the most important part, it works every time. No hassles. No cables. No software installs.”
Badoink vows to frequently update the content made available to buyers of the pre-loaded headset.
The company also is working on a subscription option model, but full details haven’t yet been announced.
Facebook, which owns Oculus, has a terms of service agreement for headsets that commands users to “not use or promote sexually explicit, abusive or obscene content.” That policy, however, has yet to be enforced.
