ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Woodhull Freedom Foundation has made a call for workshop and panel proposals for the group’s annual conference to be held Aug. 15-18 in Alexandria, Va.
Woodhull’s Sexual Freedom Summit brings together human rights activists, sexuality educators and researchers, professionals from the legal and medical fields, authors, sexual freedom movement leaders and organizational partners to expand and advance recognition of sexual freedom as a fundamental human right.
“This year we will be offering the option of being part of a track (a series of workshops on a specific topic) as well as the option of being considered for a general workshop,” organizers said.
Tentative tracks for the 2019 Sexual Freedom Summit are “Making Sexual Freedom More Accessible,” “Pleasure,” “Skill Sharing” and “Voicing Barriers Facing the TGNC Community.
Woodhull has created an online form for workshop and panel proposals. The deadline for proposal submissions is Feb. 14.
