'Love In the Digital Age' Wins Couples Release of the Year at 2019 XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — "Love In the Digital Age," the New Sensations romantic comedy from multi XBIZ Award-winning writer and director Jacky St. James, was named Couples-Themed Release of the Year last night at the 2019 XBIZ Awards.

"Love In the Digital Age" marks St. James' triumphant return to romance and stars Gia Paige as an internet-obsessed millennial, who on a dare, gives up her smart phone and social media and discovers love is more rewarding when your head's out of the cloud.

"'Love In the Digital Age' is one of my favorite movies of my career and was a chance to reunite with one of the most talented crews in the business over at New Sensations," St. James said. "I am very appreciative for the recognition. Thank you so much, XBIZ."

In addition to its Couples-Themed Release of the Year honor, "Love In the Digital Age" earned a win for Best Sex Scene in a Couples-Themed Release for Paige and Tyler Nixon, who plays Gia's ex-boyfriend, a wannabe fitness guru obsessed with becoming an internet personality.

“I’m always thrilled to be on a Jacky St. James’ set, but this movie sticks out as a favorite for me because it challenges the way you think about your relationship with social media,” Paige said. “Jacky also tries to pair people who have real chemistry with each other so the scene is authentic. I’m so grateful for her creative genius because I wouldn’t be here otherwise. Thank you so much!”

"Love In the Digital Age" also features performances by Logan Pierce as the film's romantic male lead, Kenna James, Mona Wales, Marcus London and Small Hands.

"Love In the Digital Age" is produced for New Sensations Romance and serves as the acclaimed imprint's successful return, following 2014's dramedy, "Second Chances."
