Girlsway Launches 2018 Girl of the Year Contest

MONTREAL — Gamma Films imprint Girlsway has launched its fourth annual Girl of the Year contest. Voting begins today and continues through Jan. 2.

“The race is on,” said Bree Mills, Gamma’s head of production. “It’s that time of year, where fans vote for their favorite Girlsway performer. Competition is fiercer than ever this year, and we are all very curious and excited to see who comes out on top!”

The performers vying for the honor are: Chloe Cherry, Eliza Jane, Alina Lopez, Brandi Love, Mindi Mink, Lena Paul, Piper Perri, Adria Rae, Kenzie Reeves, Scarlett Sage, Ivy Wolfe and Whitney Wright.

The 2018 Girl of the Year winner will be unveiled Jan. 4 and will receive a $5000 cash prize.  Two additional contestants with the most votes will receive $2500 and $1500 cash prizes, respectively.

“Fans are eligible to vote every 24 hours: each Girlsway.com member’s vote will account for three points while each non-member vote will count as one point,” a rep said. “Girlsway will keep fans apprised of the contest’s running tally by posting the performers’ mid-point voting results on Dec. 28 to the Girlsway.com members’ forum and on social media.”

Mills supports regular voting. “We encourage fans to vote as often as they can to support their favorite Girl of the Month nominees,” she said, “and we wish each and every one of the performers the best of luck in this year's competition.”
