Playboy Names Holly Ruprecht Senior Manager of Affiliate Marketing

LOS ANGELES — Playboy Enterprises has named veteran adult marketing executive Holly Ruprecht as its senior manager of affiliate marketing.

As one of the most iconic brands in history, Playboy reaches its global audience across three verticals: content, events and experiences and consumer products. Within those verticals, Playboy has an impressive breadth of consumer touch-points ranging from digital content, print, film and television, location-based events and a significant global retail presence.

Six decades later, what began as a smart, sophisticated and playful men’s magazine has evolved into a global media and lifestyle brand with a media presence in more than 27 countries, food, beverage and gaming experiences, and more than $1.5 billion in annual retail sales of Playboy consumer products in 180 countries.

According to the company, Ruprecht joins the team at its Los Angeles headquarters, where she will drive subscriptions to Playboy Plus and Playboy.tv and develop new strategic partnerships.

A Boston native known for her dedication to duty and contagious brand evangelism, Ruprecht comes from a more than three-year tenure as Hustler’s senior manager of business development, where she oversaw the growth of the LFP Internet Group. While at Hustler, Ruprecht forged new partnerships for LFP’s affiliate program and other initiatives, earning an XBIZ Exec Award as Business Development Executive of the Year in 2017 in recognition of her ongoing achievements.

A popular personality within the industry, Ruprecht has served in a wide variety of roles, including as a former director of the Women in Adult trade group and in the affiliate management space for leading companies such as NakedSword, FalconBucks, Sparta Video, Lucas Entertainment and more.

For her part, Ruprecht is eager to take on a pivotal role with Playboy as it pursues several new digital initiatives in 2019.

“Leaving Hustler was a tough decision,” Ruprecht reveals, “but Playboy’s vision and direction as it builds out its online properties is exciting and is something that I wanted to be a part of.”
