NEW YORK — Stormy Daniels, the adult superstar hosting the 2019 XBIZ Awards in January, has joined the 2018 Vanity Fair Hall of Fame.
Vanity Fair today listed its eight top newsmakers who each have become cultural luminaries and have taken the global centerstage with their big personalities. The individuals chosen for the Hall of Fame piece, a Vanity Fair tradition begun in 1913, were photographed by Annie Leibovitz.
“Some of our inductees need no introduction, while others are only just stepping onto the global stage,” Vanity Fair said. “Some of them spoke truth to power, like Stormy Daniels, Bob Woodward and March for Our Lives leader Naomi Wadler. Others revolutionized their fields with talent and unique perspective, like Ryan Coogler, Hannah Gadsby and Kylian Mbappe.”
In the piece, Daniels is pictured aboard her horse, Casalto, in West Grove, Penn. Accompanying text in the piece calls her “the face that launched a thousand memes — Yeti pubes, Mario Kart mushroom dick.”
“She became the star of her own reality show; the only stripper to open her act with a clip from ‘60 Minutes,’” Vanity Fair said. “Say what you will, but she’s funny: she considered running for the U.S. Senate on the slogan, ‘Stormy Daniels: Screwing People Honestly.’ And she’s got taste: every time she sees the leader of the free world on TV, she thinks: I had sex with that.”
