"You know porn has become much more mainstream," Roth said. "I mean, porn stars are like regular celebrities."
Roth filmed part of his latest movie "Hostel, Part II" at the Big Sister club in Prague, Czechoslovakia, which lets men and couples have sex with each other or the club's women for free as long as they agree to let their encounters be broadcast on the Internet. Big Sister provided XFANZ with the interview.
In the interview, Roth also reveals that his first exposure to an actual adult movie was "WPINK TV," starring Ron Jeremy and Christy Canyon. He also criticizes 2257 regulations, arguing that if the U.S. government declares adult entertainment to be "obscene," movies like "Hostel" wouldn't be far behind.
"I know as someone making horror films, if the sex gets regulated, I'm next on the [chopping] block," Roth said. "So all the horror filmmakers are very much against this, because then violence is going to be what's obscene."
