NEW YORK — CineKink is seeking works that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality for its 2019 season.
CineKink officials said that with the 2019 season — its 16th year — they are looking to blur boundaries and will be considering offerings drawn from both the mainstream film world and adult, with selections ranging from documentary to drama, camp comedy to artsy experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit.
Scheduled for March, CineKink NYC will feature a short-film competition, audience choice awards, a "Bring It!" adult entertainment showcase and contest, a gala kick-off event and a closing-night party. A national tour will follow, showcasing favorites from the CineKink NYC festival selections.
Cutting across orientations, topics covered at CineKink have included BDSM, leather and fetish, swinging, nonmonogamy and polyamory, roleplay and gender bending, sex work and sex geekery.
Films, videos and original digital series, of any length and genre, are welcome for submission.
Discounted, early-bird entries have a postmarked deadline of Friday Oct. 19, while the regular deadline is Friday, Nov. 9 and the late deadline is Friday, Nov. 30, with submission fees increasing at each tier.
An extended deadline runs until Friday, Dec. 21, for works submitted via FilmFreeway or Withoutabox only.
