LOS ANGELES – Angela White toplines “Secrets That We Keep” via Pulse Distribution and the revamped Red Light District for director Dana Vespoli, now in wholesale/retail release.
“Angela’s character is in a relationship with a hit man. When she finds out he is having an affair, she becomes angry at this transgression,” Vespoli said. “She then wonders what it says about her that she can forgive murder, but not infidelity.”
The “delightfully subversive title,” a rep notes, pairs White with Manuel Ferrara. Costars include James Deen, Small Hands, Kenna James, Romi Rain and Kissa Sins.
Vespoli notes the matchup between Romi Rain and Small Hands was another highlight for her. “I love tension and a slow seduction. Plus, I’m a sucker for an aggressive younger man with an older woman. I think hate-fucking is a niche that needs to be explored more and they do it beautifully.”
“The scintillating and controversial release is one of the keystones of the rebooted Red Light District, one of the leading hardcore gonzo companies of the past two decades,” the rep said. The label relaunched this month “under the leadership of co-founder David Joseph."
