New Sensations Streets Jacky St. James' 'Love In the Digital Age'

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — New Sensations has released its new romantic-comedy adult feature, "Love In the Digital Age," from Jacky St. James, the multi-XBIZ Award winning writer and director.

“Love In the Digital Age” stars Gia Paige as Sara, an internet-obsessed millennial, who gives up her smartphone and social media on a dare and later discovers Logan Pierce, who plays her love interest, Grif.

Kenna James co-stars as Lizzie, Sara’s best friend, and Mona Wales plays Lizze’s mother, Janine. Tyler Nixon, Marcus London and Small Hands also have parts.

"'Love In the Digital Age' is one of my favorite movies I've ever been a part of," Paige said. "I feel I struggle with people to get their attention from their phones, so this really hit home for me. I think it's very reflective on how the internet can affect our daily lives, in a negative or positive manner. Plus, it was such a fun production! I always have fun on set with Jacky, she's my absolute favorite."

Pierce said, "Grif has a love/hate relationship with technology. On one hand, it’s allowed him to be as successful as he is, but on the other, he believes it has diluted and diminished the importance of real human interaction; a belief that is mutually shared between he and Sarah. At face value, Grif is sweet, charming, and progressive. But, beneath the surface, he is harboring secrets that could drastically affect not only his professional reputation, but also his newfound relationship with Sarah.”

The release, featuring cinematography by Eddie Powell, marks St. James' eagerly anticipated return to romance and is the first release from the New Sensations Romance imprint since "Second Chances" in 2014.

"I am thrilled to share 'Love In the Digital Age' with everyone," St. James said. "It's not only a welcomed return to the rom-com genre that has been somewhat abandoned in our industry, it's a fun and reflective work that speaks to what society and romance has become and what it can be."

"Love In the Digital Age" has a runtime of 123 minutes and includes an exclusive photo gallery and candid behind-the-scenes featurette.
