SAN FRANCISCO — Unbound founders Polly Rodriguez and Sarah Jayne Kinney unveiled marketing plans for their new Palma fashion-forward vibrator ring at TechCrunch’s Disrupt SF conference.
“Unbound is the first brand taking sexual wellness mainstream through elevated design and accessible pricing,” Rodriguez told attendees at a session on start-ups.
So far, the pair have raised $3.3 million in seed funding to date and are on track to hit $4 million in revenue in 2018.
Unbound is banking on the Palma in becoming a favorite for those seeking a state-of-the- art, contemporary-looking vibrator ring that is multi-speed, waterproof and customizable for vibration patterns. Palma, available in silver and gold, is set to ship early next year.
“Our dream at Unbound is for female sexual health to be viewed through the same lens as male sexuality — as a part of our overall health that deserves a conversation, platform and shopping experience that doesn’t feel like a flaming pile of garbage,” Rodriguez said.
Unbound is returning to Sex Expo New York next month and showcasing its collection of pleasure products
