Mick Blue, Anikka Albrite Open Up to 'Committed' Podcast

VENICE, Calif. — Mick Blue and Anikka Albrite turn the spotlight on their personal relationship in a new episode of the “Committed” podcast.

“Committed” is produced by Stuff Media Network and hosted by Jo Piazza. The Blue-Albrite episode, titled “I Don’t Own Him,” is available now.

Piazza conducted the interview with the XBIZ Awards-winning couple at their home. She notes that a successful romantic relationship is “especially tricky” when one’s partner is “regularly having sex not only with other people, but for the enjoyment of other people.”

“Mick and Anikka have become the industry’s finest example of how a couple in love can last in an industry that can make things even more difficult than they are under normal circumstances.”

Albrite reveals one of their ground rules: no off-camera sex with an on-camera partner. “It shows respect when you do that,” she said.

Prior to getting together, both had drawn up lists of ideal qualities in a partner. Blue’s list had only six points, including that any potential partner had to speak German. Albrite “hit all the points.”

For her part, Albrite’s list was “rather more extensive” with 76 points.

“I was thinking, ‘I’m screwed.’ Because there is no way in the world that anyone is going to pass all 76 points,” Blue said. Nevertheless, he passed the test.

Piazza notes she wasn’t sure what to expect from the porn power couple. “I was excited to hear about what it’s like to be a married porn star, but I didn’t know we would end up talking about respect and communication and that Mick and Anikka would seem more normal than most so-called ‘normal’ people in my life.”

“No matter what anyone thinks about what they do for work, they’re happy. They’re happy, they love each other, they’re committed.”
