OAKLAND, Calif. — A collection of kinky award-winning short films is in store for those attending next month's CineKink annual festival tour in Oakland.
Scheduled for Friday, Aug. 10, CineKink will screen shorts at the New Parkway, a unique movie theater with an array of comfortable couches and a café serving food plus beer and wine.
The one-night-only event, which begins at 9:30 p.m., is part of CineKink's national screening tour that celebrates and explores the wide diversity of sexuality.
The Oakland tour will offer screenings of a love story about bondage and books, a documentary remembrance of a once-legendary gay beach and a laugh-filled romp with adult performers Tommy Pistol and Ingrid Mouth.
The film lineup features “Sock Puppet” (directed by Magnus Sullivan), “Asian Man, White Woman” (Woody Fu), “Don’t Call Me” (Olympia De G.), “Cruising Elsewhere” (Ryan White), “F*ck Yes: Threesome” (Jessica King), “Yes Campaign” (Ms. Naughty), “Morning After” (Patricia Chica) “Library Hours” (Jim Vendiola), “Queen Kong” (Monica Strambini) and ‘Writer’s Block” (Shine Louise Houston).
The screening will be followed by a short discussion with attending filmmakers. Admission is $12, $10 for students/seniors, with advance purchase strongly recommended; 18 and over only.
