Rather than focusing on top sellers, they decided to go with shock value and education, according to the company.
"For shock value we brought quite a few boxes of giant rubber dongs," XR LLC's James Medina said. "Fortunately the rubber dongs were big enough that most would-be passers-by were caught in our gravity well and dragged into the booth."
Medina said that once they got them goofing off with the dildos, people were then lured over to the electrosex gear. The company allowed consumers to feel the kind of current they could have pulsing through them.
"Usually people aren't able to feel the effects of an electrosex box before purchasing it, so this was a valuable educational experience," Medina said. "The best that anyone can describe electrosex insertables is that they don't vibrate, they vibrate you."
