Veronique Verreault, CEO of Miss VV's Mystery, Joins Women of Sex Tech

MONTREAL — Miss VV's Mystery CEO Veronique Verreault, creator of the Miss On The Go app-powered kegel vibrator, has joined Women of Sex Tech.

“I’m all about women's empowerment, and we know how tough it is in the sex tech business,” Verreault said. “Even though my family and close entourage supports me, no one would understand me better than the women hustling out there in the same field.”

Women of Sex Tech is a community of women from the fields of arts and entertainment, education and business and tech. The group, represented in six cities globally, includes creators, artists, entrepreneurs, journalists, educators, innovators and engineers, all with a “collective mission to change the way the world views human sexuality and foster women's entrepreneurship,” the group said.

Verreault said she was inspired to join Women of Sex Tech by the group's networking opportunities and mission to help entrepreneurial women looking to make moves in the male-dominated sex tech space.

“I heard about the group from [Women of Sex Tech member] Virginia Cerrone, CEO of PureEros. We were talking about what we go through as female pleasure business owners, and she strongly suggested I join the group to help others and get support as well; to exchange on our projects and feel less lonely,” Verreault recalled.

Since her induction last month, Verreault was asked to speak at a Festivulve conference, a French-language event celebrating women and body positivity and diversity.

Titled “Sex Tech: The Cherry on Top of Feminism,” this leg of Festivulve's conference took place in Verreault's native Montreal, where she was personally asked to speak by event organizer Mel Goyer.

“For most of the attendees, sex tech was something vague and they had no clue how far this industry can go and how much of a positive difference it can bring for all of us,” Verreault said. “I talked about the Women of Sex Tech and the overall impact of technology on the sexual wellness field.

"The crowd was also very impressed with the recent fundraising efforts of Women of Sex Tech members Cindy Gallop and Bryony Cole for their Sex Hackathon.”

Verreault said for the remainder of 2018 she will be working on growing her business with Miss On The Go, her debut product that combines a unique kegel ball vibrator with a social, Tinder-esque dating app, and seeking new investors to back production on new sex tech toys for her company, Miss VV's Mystery.

“I’m really glad to be part of the Women of Sex Tech movement and make a difference by spreading the word and excitement around it,” Verreault said. “My aim is to improve women’s lives and empower them through my brand message — Confidence is Sexy.”

Verreault welcomes emails at vv@missvvsmystery.com.
