CAM4 Performers Now Able to Broadcast on Android, iOS

LOS ANGELES — CAM4 has announced that all performers are now able to broadcast from Android and iOS mobile devices.

According to a company rep, "Mobile streaming has been available to Android users for the past year, but extending this feature to iOS is another major step in making streaming more accessible. Mobile-friendly features have become some of the most coveted tools in the webcam industry as the innovation around mobile products continues to grow.

"C4 Broadcaster gives performers the opportunity to stream live content from anywhere at any time around the world as well as effectively manage their account with little need for a laptop or additional hardware," they added. "This feature, only available on CAM4, is expected to change the type of content performers can produce, and the frequency."

CAM4VR Content Manager Ela Darling said, “It’s exciting to finally be able to stream on CAM4 from my iPhone. I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this on a cam site for years! I’m thrilled that our performers will be able to broadcast and engage with their viewers, easily from the palm of their hand."

The iOS C4 Broadcaster is now available from all iPhones and iPads using iOS 11 and up, with the latest version of Safari browser. To access C4 Broadcaster on iOS devices there is no app download required — users can just click on the “Broadcast” tab from the top of the CAM4 home page in Safari.
