LOS ANGELES — The Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC) has announced they are throwing a fundraising summer BBQ party on Sunday, July 1 in Northridge from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (PST), celebrating their newly launched Peer to Peer Mentorship Program and the announcement of nominees for the upcoming APAC election.
The summer BBQ party will feature a menu catered by performer Nathan Bronson, as well as a chance to take a dip in the pool and meet other adult performers. It is not too late to sign up for the program — performers can apply at APAC-USA.com or fill out an application at the BBQ.
According to a rep, "The most exciting part of the night will be the official launch of the APAC Peer to Peer Mentorship Program established by Riley Reyes. PTP matches experienced performers (mentors) with new performers looking for guidance (mentees). Mentors and mentees will be meeting for the very first time.
"Another exciting event taking place during the BBQ will be the announcement of nominees for the upcoming APAC election for the positions of President, Treasurer and Chairperson, along with two new positions, Director of Education and Director of Outreach," they added. "APAC members who would like to run should submit their nomination along with a brief bio through the APAC site."
APAC Vice President Riley Reyes said, “The APAC Peer to Peer (PTP) Mentorship program is a long-awaited addition to APAC's offerings. I’m so proud to see the launch of PTP. Providing new performers with support and mentorship is an invaluable tool in empowering the next generation of adult actors."
