LOS ANGELES — Paperclip Pottery by Mia Schachter has announced the release of Shagware, a line of handmade, wheel-thrown ceramic sex toys.
“Ceramic sex toys offer the user an experience similar to the body-feel and maintenance of crystal, glass or metal toys,” a rep explained. The toys are non-porous and work with any kind of lubricant. They are temperature-sensitive and can be put in the fridge or run under warm water. They’re also dishwasher safe and are designed to be free standing and mountable.
The toys are available in small and large sizes in four non-anatomical shapes: bubbled, straight, torpedo and curved.
Schachter’s work is sold internationally and has been featured in High Times magazine, London’s Canna Curious Club, Leaf Magazine Oregon and on HBO’s “High Maintenance.” Shagware is currently on display at The New Museum’s gift shop in New York City.
Shagware toys are available for $60 wholesale though PaperClipPottery.com. For additional information, contact Schachter on Instagram or via email at paperclippottery@gmail.com.
