TrafficStars Expands Video Pre-Roll Inventory

LIMASSOL, Cyprus — Since announcing the launch of its video pre-roll ad format in February, TrafficStars has welcomed numerous websites to its video pre-roll inventory, including Tnaflix.com, Empflix.com, GotPorn.com, DrTuber.com, Nuvid.com, PornXS.com, HellPorno.com, Alphaporno.com, Xbabe.com, Tubewolf.com and Crocotube.com.

TrafficStars’ video pre-roll format consists of a video ad of up to 20 seconds, which plays before the content and allows the user to skip the ad after six seconds. A countdown for the skip button is displayed from the start of the pre-roll video ad and a link to the landing page is displayed in the top right corner and remains during the following video content, even after the ad has finished.

TrafficStars’ Publishing Head Anna Blaivas said that video pre-roll provides a good experience for users who are familiar with similar formats on YouTube and Facebook.

It is non-intrusive and user-friendly and fits in line with Google’s new ad standards — especially since the link is clearly labeled, avoiding any blind clicks, meaning the user is only taken away from the page if they click on the link to the landing page, she said.

The first website to take advantage of this new ad format with TrafficStars was xHamster.com.

“We are thrilled to welcome big websites such as Tnaflix, Gotporn, DrTuber, Nuvid, Hellporno, Alphaporno and PornXS, and help them to drive up their advertising revenues using high-quality video ads,” Blaivas said. “So far, we have seen the dating, gaming, gambling and livecam verticals perform especially well on this ad format.

“We are already leading the way with native ads in the industry, and we are now helping publishers to take advantage of new ad formats in a way that is aligned with the high quality and performance that has come to be expected from TrafficStars,” Blaivas said.
