WWC 3.0 will offer two new content delivery methods. Titles can be licensed directly from WorldWideContent.com and loaded onto webmasters’ own servers, or IP-TV exclusive streaming technology can be leased. All content delivery options will be integrated into the new site.
The search interface will be improved, allowing clients to search by actors’ names, production date, studio, niche and more. The website will be easier to navigate, making the entire content licensing process quick and trouble-free, according to the company.
“Now that we’ve doubled the staff in our Glendale offices, we can develop great products and services for our webmaster clients,” WWC CEO Raffi Vartanian told XBIZ. “Every advance and addition in the new build will be seamlessly integrated into WorldWideContent.com with new order-processing real-time software. With this new version of the site, we become a one-stop megasite for webmaster content."
WWC, which won the 2007 XBIZ Award for “Content Provider of the Year,” has a library of over 14,000 titles for online licensing from a pool of more than 200 production studios, covering 100 niches.
This latest version of the site will be unveiled officially at the XBIZ Summer ’07 Industry Forum in Las Vegas in July. To celebrate the launch of Version 3.0, WWC is announcing its WorldWideContent.com Vegas Giveaway, a promotion for webmasters.
The winner will receive a stay at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, dinner for two at AJ's Steak House, a $100 Hard Rock Casino chip, two tickets to the XBIZ Summer ’07 Forum, $1000 credit for content from WorldWideContent.com and $1000 credit for feeds content from WorldWideFeeds.com
Webmasters can qualify in two ways: Every 25th post in the official contest thread on the webmaster board GFY.com will earn that poster an official entry in the drawing. For industry professionals, every $100 spent on content from WWC in the month of June is worth one contest entry.
The winner will be announced on July 1.
