intimate.io Whitepaper Offers Roadmap for Future of Adult Crypto

LOS ANGELES — intimate.io has announced the release of an updated whitepaper, revealing a roadmap for the future of the adult-oriented cryptocurrency-based monetization system.

According to the company, its whitepaper describes how intimate will transform the establishment of trust and the execution of payments beginning with the adult industry by supporting providers of adult goods, content, interactive content and in-person interactions.

Calling itself “a pseudonymous reputation framework for decentralized markets,” the company’s whitepaper describes how intimate “enables safe transactions in a permissionless environment via trustless two-party escrow, [enabling] pseudonymous users to check a counterparty’s reputation before entering into a transaction.”

An introduction to key team members, projections for ongoing platform development, and an outline of the purchase process for the token sale, the method of distribution of the tokens, and how the tokens will be used to drive this project forward in coming years, are detailed in the report.

“The adult industry has always faced a range of challenges. The introduction of digital technology has removed many barriers to its expansion but it has also introduced some,” the whitepaper notes. “intimate was born to answer the needs of worldwide adult businesses and workers who struggle with the legacy financial system and the personal risk prevalent in some segments of the industry.”

The whitepaper describes how intimate’s solution addresses four main needs of the industry: Openness (pseudonymous and open membership); scalability (fast and cheap transactions); reputation (pseudonymous feedback to improve safety and quality of interactions); and ethics (high code of conduct, low reputational risk).
