LOS ANGELES — CBS’ “60 Minutes” will air a recently taped interview with adult superstar Stormy Daniels on Sunday, March 25, according to a Washington Post report.
The Post cited multiple people involved with the show as sources. Those sources said that neither the Trump Organization nor the White House had attempted to stop the interview from airing so far.
Daniels allegedly had an affair with President Trump and was paid $130,000 through a nondisclosure agreement.
She sued Trump last week, claiming the nondisclosure agreement is null and void because Trump never signed it.
Michael Avenatti, a Los Angeles-based attorney, provided an email to CNN in which Trump counsel Michael Cohen confirmed the transfer of funds to Daniels' former attorney, Keith Davidson.
After Daniels sat for the “60 Minutes” interview with Anderson Cooper, Avenatti tweeted a photo of the three of them. He also provided the black-and-white photo seen above.
