"The first show went great. Bridget has guest hosted some of our other shows, and she's part of the Playboy legacy, but she can do this," Playboy Radio Program Director Farrell Hirsch told XBIZ. "The show is set at the [Playboy] Mansion. We recreated it in the studio — we recorded the doorbell, you hear the dogs barking, and the butler brings the guest back to Bridget's room."
One segment in the show involves the most interesting person Marquardt met in the last week. "Next week she's flying to Monaco to have dinner with Prince Albert, and then she's stopping at Mick Jagger's place on the way home," Hirsch said. "She said 'I hope I meet somebody interesting at one of those places, or else I'll have nothing to talk about.'"
Marquardt is best known as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends through her appearances on "The Girls Next Door" on the E! cable network. She earned her Master's degree in Communications from the University of the Pacific in Stockton following her Bachelor's degree in Communications from CSU Sacramento. Wednesday is a female black Pekingese named for Wednesday from "The Addams Family."
