Prather, aka Bad Ass Frank, has been involved in charity work for years so he decided to create an event where porn stars could select a cause that held special meaning to them. The scavenger hunt will send 10-15 teams of three to six people across Santa Monica looking for clues leading to various items.
Participants from the adult industry include Hailey Young, Micah Moore, Vanessa Lynn, Ginger Lee, Kacey Villainess and Faye Runaway, with proceeds going to Hunter C.A.R.E., Children of Uganda and the ALS Association, among others.
“It was my New Year’s resolution to get more active with charity work,” Prather told XBIZ. “Many people asked me to organize my own event and I knew I could get people to participate, thus Search 4 A Cause was born.”
To ensure an organized scavenger hunt, Prather contracted with a professional company. The event is free to enter as long as a team comes with a check written out to a charity, which serves as its entry fee.
“There are not many multicharity events,” Prather said. “I know Search 4 A Cause is going to be a really fun event. I’d like to thank all the participates for their time and effort in advance.”
