Vice Industry Token Plans Crowdsale This Month

Vice Industry Token Plans Crowdsale This Month

LOS ANGELES — Vice Industry Token announced today that its crowdsale will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

The new coin platform is backed by some of the top names in the adult industry, including Penthouse, Exxxtasy and Elegant Angel. And its team includes veterans such as Kelly Holland, the longtime Penthouse executive who acquired the famous adult company in early 2016.

During Vice Industry Token's crowdsale purchasers will pay ~$0.05 of ETH per VIT, with a minimum purchase of $50 of ETH.

Vice Industry Token calls itself “a disruptive adult platform, where everybody who accesses it will be rewarded. This includes producers, distributors and viewers.”

“The original paradigm in adult entertainment was that people paid for the content they consumed, whether by subscription or pay-per-view,” a company official said. “With tube websites becoming popular, there was a shift towards free viewing. While free content is certainly desirable, wouldn't it be better if you could get paid for it, too?

“The Vice Industry Token represents a profound change in the adult entertainment industry. It functions as two things — an adult entertainment platform, where viewers can watch videos, and as a cryptocurrency where anybody who participates in viewing, adding or curating content will get paid in VIT's proprietary cryptocurrency.”

More details on Vice Industry Token's crowdsale, along with its whitepaper, can be found at ViceToken.com.
