ALBANY, N.Y. — Industry attorney Maxine Lynn this week launched a new podcast series called “Unzipped: The Business of Sex,” which features easy-to-digest discussions on legal issues facing adult entertainment and pleasure products companies.
Lynn, an attorney at Keohane & D'Alessandro PLLC who also operates the site BusinessOf.Sex, plans on posting new episodes at least twice per month, but the exact schedule will vary based on the timing as pertinent legal news unfolds.
"I am excited to make legal matters more understandable,” Lynn told XBIZ. “The quick-and-dirty format of the podcast will make it easy for people to get nuggets of information that are relevant to them without having to invest a lot of precious time.”
In some cases, Lynn plans on providing mini-seminars on topics like patent, trademark or copyright law. In other cases, she’ll interview leading experts and industry insiders to get opinions and insights.
“Given that business in the adult industry is moving at a pace more rapid than ever before, I believe this will make the podcast a valuable and sought-after resource," she said.
Lynn focuses her practice at Keohane & D'Alessandro on intellectual property matters, along with contracts and litigation. She is a frequent contributor to XBIZ.
