AVSecure's Age-Verification Workshop Set for 2018 XBIZ Show

AVSecure's Age-Verification Workshop Set for 2018 XBIZ Show

LOS ANGELES — Age-verification solution provider AVSecure has announced plans to host an exclusive workshop at next month’s 2018 XBIZ Show, presented by ManyVids.

The AVSecure workshop will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 3-3:50 p.m. at West Hollywood’s Andaz hotel, the exclusive venue for the XBIZ Show.

According to Chief Marketing Officer Stephen Winyard, AVSecure was developed using blockchain technology to become the leading age-verification solution to comply with the U.K. Digital Economy Act and is free for the industry to use.

“We are excited to present AVSecure in January at XBIZ,” Winyard said. “We will explain in detail how it works, how we solved the problems of verification, the exclusive methods that allow us to verify anyone, and how our world-class technology platform uses blockchain, as well as the economics behind it.”

“We will also reveal one of our approved methods for which we have a global exclusive agreement,” added Winyard, who noted that AVSecure was created with three critical elements in mind — the consumer, the industry and the cost.

“Against the historical background of data breaches and hacks, we are very aware that consumers will pay particular attention when asked to enter personal information for the purpose of accessing adult content,” Winyard said.

“We appreciate the need to support the industry by delivering a trusted service that you can be proud to offer your consumers. Reputation is everything.”

“Mandatory age verification is one of the industry’s most pressing issues today,” XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy said. “This workshop is a great example of how XBIZ provides a vital connection between the industry and the forces that shape its future.”
