NEW YORK — CineKink has announced a last call for works that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality for its 2018 season.
Filmmakers have until Monday, Dec. 4, to submit by the festival’s final deadline.
According to a rep, CineKink is looking to blur boundaries and will be considering offerings drawn from both mainstream and adult, with selections ranging from documentary to drama, camp comedy to artsy experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit — and everything in between.
Scheduled for its 15th annual appearance in March 2018, CineKink NYC will feature a short film competition, audience choice awards, a "Bring It!" adult entertainment showcase/contest, a gala kick-off event and a sexy closing-night party. A national tour will follow, showcasing favorites from the NYC festival selections.
Cutting across orientations, topics covered at CineKink have included BDSM, leather and fetish, swinging, non-monogamy and polyamory, roleplay and gender bending, sex work and sex geekery. Films, videos and original digital series, of any length and genre, are welcome for submission, the organizers reported.
