"[Coming back to KSEX] was a decision that needed to be made right away, and I'm happy I made that decision," Batman told XBIZ. "I plan to bring the same craziness I've had during the past year to this show. The content — the conventions, the parties, the behind-the-scenes on movie sets — that's all going to continue."
Prime Time Uncensored President Michael Fattorosi confirmed that Batman's departure was amicable. "Tony was with KSEX a long time. I know that he feels that KSEX is family, and he was a part of that family," Fattorosi told XBIZ. "Prime Time Uncensored was never meant to be the last stop on someone's career. I think he's going to do well over there."
"Michael Fattorosi — class act, all the way. [He was] very accommodating to me; told me I should follow my heart. He wished me the best, and I think that's the way things should be," Batman told XBIZ. "This is show business. People change, things change. You can't get angry every time something changes."
"We're happy to have Batman back," KSEX Program Director Lorrainiac told XBIZ. "When I first learned that he wanted to come back, my initial thought was 'I don't think so, buddy.' But upon talking to him I realized that his body may have left us, but his heart never left KSEX ... I need people on my staff who are dedicated and committed, and he definitely is an asset."
Batman's program, "A! Entertainment," is scheduled Tuesday and Thursday from 8-10 p.m. Batman's cohost on Tuesday nights will be his ex-wife, Regan Anthony. "It's fun fooling the guests, luring the guests, and then telling them 'We're divorced.'" His Thursday night cohost is Candy Manson, who was with him on the Prime Time Uncensored show. "She's a lot of fun to be around," Batman said.
The return of Batman is the latest of many changes at KSEX that started May 10 with the dismissal of on-air talent and Program Director Wankus, the promotion of Lorrainiac to Program Director, the acquisition of Heat Party Radio by KSEX and the planned move on June 1 to new studio facilities in Chatsworth, Calif.
