Combat Zone founder Dion Giarusso told XBIZ that about 40 titles will be added to PinkSheets nonexclusively, marking the first time his product is available via VOD in the U.K.
PinkSheets parent company Petel Incorporated announced its objective of creating "the world's largest VOD library with over 75,000 hours of content." Last week PinkSheets made a deal with Dutch distributor Scala Agenturen to add 12,000 hours of adult footage to its roster.
Giarusso said that the company approached him several months ago with the distribution plan, and that they seemed like a straight company to work with to expand Combat Zone's VOD distribution.
"It's new territory," Giarusso said. "And I've got no problem taking a chance with a new company."
Petel Incorporated Chief Executive David Morton feels confident that his company will reach its goal, and that the past few days of successful business deals proves its strength.
"The phenomenal growth in the equity in only four days of trading underlines the confidence we have that our business will deliver success for all involved," Morton said.
