LAS VEGAS — A crowdfunding account to help pay for funeral expenses and benefit her three children was set up today for adult star Joselyn Pink, who passed away at her Las Vegas home on Saturday, Sept. 9.
Pink, who was 36 when she died, starred in more than 100 adult scenes in videos shot in the early 2000s through 2014 for nearly all of the blue-chip studios operating at the time, including Red Light District, JM Productions, Pink Visual, Metro, Extreme Associates and Kick Ass Pictures, among scores of others.
Bored with office work in her early 20s, Pink swung over to the world of adult entertainment, stripping at gentlemen’s clubs and shooting her first scene in the 2003 feature film, “Limelight Girls 4.” In 2014, however, Pink took a hiatus away from porn to raise her children.
One of her closest friends, Daejha Milan, a former adult star and current operator of Adult Film Festival Las Vegas (AFFLV), said that “the world took a great loss on the morning of Sept. 9.”
“She always had a smile for anyone who passed her,” Milan told XBIZ. “She was humble and quiet but very animated once you got to know her.
“She loved her fans as much as her friends and family, and she will be greatly missed by all,” Milan said. “The family has decided to have a private ceremony for her children. Thank you to all her fans who have supported her work over the years.”
Amber Leah and Chris OG from 70Screw.com were closest to her in her final days, said Milan, who noted that Pink died “peacefully” at home.
“She was just a great person, performer and most of all a great friend,” the pair said in a statement. “She left behind children and lots of friends … she was very special to us.”
The Joselyn Pink Family Memorial Fund was set up by her fiancé, Michael Martin, to help cover funeral expenses and assist in the care of her three children. The YouCaring fund can be accessed here.
