The films include "Deep Throat," "Debbie Does Dallas," "Tell Them Johnny Wadd Is Here," "Candy Stripers" and "Liquid Lips," plus newer productions like "The Goddaughter" and "The Devil's Agenda with Miss Jones," featuring Ron Jeremy as the devil.
"They weren't going to do the deal if they couldn't get placements in malls," Arrow Licensing Director Robert Interlandi told XBIZ. “Our titles are so well known by everybody. My grandmother knows 'Deep Throat.' People who are 18 and never saw the movies know 'Deep Throat.' It's a part of pop culture. We're doing shot glasses, beer mugs, bar stools and cocktail tables."
“We are excited to offer customers an opportunity to see Arrow products in new ways. With the world of adult films becoming more mainstream we are taking this opportunity to align ourselves with the originators of the industry and the most well known films of all time,” Silver Buffalo Licensing Director Greg Alprin said.
Plans call for a "Deep Throat" beer to be available soon, and Interlandi is available for other licensing opportunities. "I don't think the door is shut yet," he told XBIZ.
