ClickThruCash Reinvigorates Pay-Per-Click

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The team behind Mayor’s Money has launched ClickThruCash, a pay-per-click affiliate program that earns webmasters 5 cents per click generated from banners and hosted galleries, effectively eliminating conversion ratios.

The pay-per-click model was popular in the mid-to late-1990s, but as revshare and pay-per-signup models became more abundant, and as click fraud rose, many PPC programs closed.

Mayor’s Money Program Director Jimmy, aka Wizzo, explained that new technology is available to combat click fraud and that ClickThruCash has developed a comprehensive set of rules on what kinds of traffic it will accept.

“We don’t take traffic any way that a webmaster wants to send it, otherwise we would be overrun with blind links, redirects and such,” Wizzo told XBIZ. “So we have eight rules the links must follow for the click to be accepted by us.”

All clicks made through ClickThruCash are being sent to BadTeenager.com, but Wizzo said the company would have the flexibility to redirect traffic to other sites as well.

Mike “Mayor” Strouse touted ClickThruCash’s ability to earn webmasters a steady paycheck under any circumstances.

“ClickThruCash is one of the most advanced technological programs I have ever seen and should provide webmasters a great alternative to the current payout models and [offers] protection against fraud,” Strouse said. “ClickThruCash.com will have a major impact on the industry because it will allow webmasters to not worry about conversions. This is especially beneficial to the smaller webmasters, whose traffic levels make it risky sending to a PPS or revshare [program] due to ‘poor conversion days.’”
